Vomiting, jaundice, headache, fever, and bleeding are among the serious symptoms that accompany this disease. Yellow fever can kill. Its so serious that in some regions like East Africa in particular, travelers are required to show a certificate of vaccination before they are allowed to enter. The jab should be given 10 days before travel day and lasts for a decade.
